Frequently asked questions
How does the "business days" mode work?
Instead of simply adding 30 calendar days, the tool steps day by day skipping Saturdays, Sundays and US federal holidays. Perfect for legal and contractual deadlines.
Which holidays are included?
The 11 US federal holidays: New Year's Day, MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. State and local holidays are not included.
Can I use it for very old or future dates?
Yes. The calculation works for any year between 1900 and 2100, more than enough for practical use.
