Are the rates updated in real time?
No. To avoid depending on paid APIs and to make sure the tool always works, we provide editable rates. Update them with today's value from your bank, Google or any FX site.
Where do I find the official rate?
Check sources like the Federal Reserve H.10 release, ECB reference rates or Google Finance. Banks and remittance services usually charge a spread on top of the mid-market rate.
Why is the price I pay at the bank different?
Banks and money transfer services add a spread (difference between buy and sell prices) plus possible flat fees. The mid-market rate is just the reference — the price you pay includes those costs.
